Here are instructions on how to use cut and paste to add one of these banners to your homepage. Thank you so much for helping us spread the word about Net4TV's Games4TV!
If you've built your own homepage, any of the email banners can also be displayed on it. Just copy the email links, paste them into your home page HTML, and then take out the <HTML> and </HTML> tags at the beginning and end of the links. Your homepage is already HTML, so you don't need them, and it might break your homepage if you leave them in.
Here are some animated Flash banners that you can put on your home page. They are the same, except for the colors. But please don't send these to people in email -- a lot of folks won't be able to see them.
Copy all of the code from the text box (see bottom of the page if you don't know how), and don't modify it - just paste it into your homepage. The Flash banners are 420 x 70.
COPY AND PASTE CODE TO ADD THIS FLASH TO YOUR HOMEPAGE:
Put your selection box (or cursor) in the form containing the code you wish to use.
Locate the CMD key on your keyboard. It means "Command" and it's used to send special instructions to your box, such as commands for copy, cut and paste. The CMD key should be in the lower left part of your keyboard.
Push and hold the CMD button on your keyboard and tap the A key. Release all keys. This highlights the text in the form.
Push and hold the CMD button on your keyboard and tap the C key. Release all keys. This will COPY the text to the clipboard. The clipboard is an invisible area of WebTV/MSNTV's memory that can temporarily store text.
Go to your homepage editor (whether you're using the WebTV PageBuilder, or whether you have a homepage on some place like GeoCities or Tripod).
Put your selection cursor in your HTML where you want the banner to appear.
Push and hold the CMD button on your keyboard and tap the V key. Release all keys. This will PASTE the text from your clipboard into the form on the page.
View your page to make sure that it's where you want it.
Note: MSN TV2 does not yet have copy and paste.
