We believe there is a real need for a game service and community whose entire purpose is make a great experience for our members. We believe it should be ad-free, so that the whole screen can be used for the games, not cluttered up with banners trying to get you to buy something. We believe that it should keep member information and email addresses private, and be a safe and friendly place to play. The only way to do all of that is as a member-supported service.

We have almost 50 games that can be played on PC and Mac, MSN TV2 and MSN TV/WebTV. Our members' Games4TV front pages are personal, and members can select the games that are featured there. Many of our games have leaderboards so that members can compare their high scores against others', and their own personal scoreboard to keep track of the high scores they've achieved in each game.

Our newest feature is Talk4TV, which is our Community Center with bulletin boards, game clubs, and a personal messanger so members can meet and communincate, while still keeping their privacy secure. We're always working on more, and all of this is made possible by our members, who are the only people we serve.

Q. Why is the minimum period 3 months? Why can't I pay by the month?

The problem is the transaction costs. We know a lot of people will prefer to pay by mail, and that takes manual processing on our part. PayPal deducts a percentage on each transaction which is very high on small amounts. We've got to start this way to make sure that we spend most of the time making a great service for you, rather than doing bookkeeping chores.

We now have Gift Certificates, in both 3-month and one-year amounts. If you're not already a Games4TV member, you will get a membership account during the transaction so that you can complete the transaction, but it will not include your own game subscription. Q. I have a WebTV with several email addresses, and we also have a PC. Can I play on all of them, or do we have to buy a membership for each one?

YOU (the person) will be the member, not your PC or email account. You may use your membership to play on any of them. You don't need separate accounts, just as long as it's you or someone who lives with you and more than one person is not playing on a single membership at the same time.

We design all of our games to play really well on WebTV. But they also work on the PC and Mac, and some games have a PC-enhanced version that you'll only see if you log in on a PC. We are part of the WebTV/MSNTV community of users, and we know that they need a place like this that makes a special effort to work well for them. But everyone who wants to join and and be a part of our friendly, fun community is welcome.
