Rules for Cinqo!

Cinqo! is our game of Poker Dice, which you may know under the name of Yahtzee. The goal is to roll the dice and fill in all of the poker hands. There are 13 hands in each game. You can roll up to three times on each play, and you can hold dice that you want to keep for your second and third rolls.

Upper (or Left) Scores: The upper scores add up the values for the dice that match the number you're scoring. For example, if you have 3 sixes and you choose "Sixes," your score for the roll will be 18. If the total upper score for the game is 63 or more, you'll get a 35-point bonus at the end of the game.

Lower (or Right) Scores: These are your "poker hands." For three of a kind and four of a kind, all of the dice are added together for the score. A small straight (1-2-3-4, 2-3-4-5, or 3-4-5-6) scores 30, and a large Straight (1-2-3-4-5 or 2-3-4-5-6) scores 40. A "full house," 3 of one number and a pair of another, scores 25. Each of these will score 0 if you don't have the right hand, but "Chance" lets you score any hand, adding up all of the values of the dice.

Cinqo! Roll five-of-a-kind, and you've got Cinqo! Score it in the Cinqo box, and you'll get 50 points. If you roll subsequent Cinqos after you've scored your 50, you can either score them in the upper scores as 5 of the number you've rolled, or use them as wild cards for different numbers in the upper scores if you've already scored the number.

For example, if you roll five ones, you can score it in the ones; if you've already scored the ones but, say, sixes isn't scored, then you can score it in the sixes and get the same as if you'd rolled five sixes. You'll also get a bonus of 100 points. Cinqo works as wild cards on all except straights. If you've scored 0 in the Cinqo but later roll one, you can't use it as wild cards and you don't get the bonuses.
