Welcome to Games4TV!

Merry Christmas! We're delighted you're here! If you've only played our free-to-play samples each week, you haven't been here for awhile, or you've only been playing just a few favorites, here's a quick tour to help you find more of what you'll enjoy most!

Getting to ALL the Games

We have about 50 games, and they all don't fit on the front page. So to see ALL of the games we have, the All Games button on the sidebar of the front page will get you to every one, arranged in alphabetical order.

Finding the Games YOU Like Best

Our most recent games are in the "Featured Games" on the front page, which is normally our Members' Only area. You'll find a lot of favorites that often appear in the free games, like Train, Cryptograms, Texas Hold'em, Spider, and Cribbage.

Be sure to check out our newest, extremely addictive game, TriPeaks Solitaire. Another very popular and addictive game is Lucky Dog, but watch out for those cat burglars!

Members can also create their own Games4TV front pages with their favorite games on it, but we make sure they can always see the first 3 featured games so they know what's new.

Types of Games

But of course, we have much more than these! So if you like to play a particular type of game, this guide might help:

Dynamic Puzzle Games Train, of course, but also Crazy Quilt, Something Fishy, Barnyard Bustle, Take 2wo, Bijoux and Chox, both with several versions. Then there's Herding Cats and Dotty, Alienation and Alienz (those two are not the same game). For a little action to get the hands nimble, try Breakout and Swat, or to achieve a bit of wisdom, check out the Chamber of Anubis,.
Solitaire Card Games You'll find more than a dozen Solitaire games in our Card Centers. The difference is in the card design, and the games are the same. The new card centers should load more quickly.

Card Games with OpponentsWe've got Gin Rummy, Cribbage, Texas Hold'em, and Go Fish with smart computer opponents.

Taipei (MahJong Solitaire) Several tile sets to choose from, and 18 layouts to play in our famous TaiPei game!

Board Games, 1 & 2 Players You can play against the computer, or against another person in your home with Mancala, Checkers, Reversi, or Cinqo Family Edition. Backgammon right now is for 2 players, but you can also play Depth Charge (like Battleship) against the wiley opponent's wolfpack. New as a 2-player game this year is Match x 2 - our concentration game. It's especially good for adults playing with young children.

Word Games If words are your thing, we've got lots that you'll enjoy. Our Christmas-themed Ginger Man is a tastier version of Hangman, while Cryptograms has hundreds of encoded messages in several different themes. Rifflets deals you 8 letters, and you've got to find the words they can make, while WordPlay gives you Crossword-like clues to each word.

Pure Logic Puzzles In addition to Cryptograms, we also have some good puzzles that can be solved with pure logic, with no element of chance. Our Bloomers are the latest addition, but we also have our long-time favorite Carom, and our version of the popular "Lights Out!" electronic puzzle Power Grid. Logic fans also will enjoy Mastermind, Mine!, and our Peg board puzzle.

Casino Like casino action? If you're a machine player, you can try your strategies with our Video Poker and Keno, or go for pure luck with Hot Slots. And if you're really a player, you'll love our hit Texas Hold'em against 6 computer opponents, and our top-flight BlackJack game.

Match and Scrambles Our Match game includes the classic Concentration, but also many more themes to play as well. We've just added a new Match for Two Players so that 2 people at home may challenge each other. And our extremely popular Scrambles picture puzzle also has a Simple Scrambles with fewer, bigger puzzle pieces. Both Scrambles change each Sunday, and members have access to the entire library of over 1,500 gorgeous picture puzzles.

Whew! So, do we have more than this? We sure do -- there are more games, we have your Daily Horoscope, and we also have some neat coloring pages and other printables in our Games4TV Xtras.

Meet Our Members!

Our Talk4TV forums give our members a way to communicate with each other, either in public forums or by Private Messenger, without having to reveal their names or email addresses. Come over and visit, and check out the Challenge games, the Let's Eat forum where our foodies are posting recipes, and the Celebrations forum where we wish each other Happy Birthday!

Members who would like to tell folks a bit about themselves can do it in our Member Profiles and all of our Talk4TV members (about 50% of our total membership at the moment) are listed in the Address book. But notice that emails and complete names aren't shown -- that's why we use the Private Messenger, because our members' privacy and safety is paramount with us.

From our non-member page, you usually don't see our Games4TV Blog which is our weekly news for our members, but stop by and check it out from the link in this page. We update each Sunday with fresh news, and you'll also see comments posted by our members in some of our articles.

And who are those members? Here's what we found in our last a membership-wide survey.

During the Open House, there are still a few things that only members can do -- post comments in the blogs, post their scores to the leaderboards, and rearrange the Games4TV front page ("Edit Favorites") to put their favorite games on top. The "Exit" button in the games also takes logged-in members back to the front page a bit faster, since we have an ad on the non-member return page. But other than those, you'll be enjoying the Games4TV member experience.

Please tell your friends about our Open House!

We love to do this on special occasions, and what could be more special than Christmas? There are shut-ins, lonely people, and old friends who can't join, but who can come to our party and play with us if they know about it.

So please tell all your friends -- you can just send them the Games4TV home page, and they'll be able to play. Our games will work great for them, whether they're on WebTV or MSN TV (Plus and New Classic), MSN TV2, PC, or Mac.

Our members make Games4TV possible, and our Christmas Open House is a gift from all of us to you! We hope you have fun, and that perhaps you might like to become part of us after the open house.

If you'd like to learn more or sign up, here's our Joining Information, and if you'd like to give or receive Games4TV as a gift, here's a page to tell you more about the Gift of Games4TV.
